This Wild Weasel Thud served with the 388th TFW/44th TFS based at Korat, Thailand. It came to the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum in 1996 and is on display in its original Vietnam War configuration and markings.

Seen at the USAF establishment at RAF Croughton acting as gate guard. This F-105 is carrying a fake serial, it really is 62-4428.

This F-105 is now part of a small collection of preserved Cold War aircraft on display on-base at Robins. However, this Thunderchief is in reality 63-8345 in false markings: the real 62-4425 is on display at Blissfield, MI

This Thud was delivered in 1964 as a standard F-105F and subsequently joined the 355th TFW in combat missions over Vietnam claiming three MiG kills. In 1970 it was fitted with ECM equipment and joined the 388th TFW for 'Wild Weasel' duty attacking enemy SAM sites. In 1972 the aircraft was modified to the improved F-105G configuration and is on display at the National Museum of the USAF in the markings worn while assigned to the 561st TFS based at Korat Royal AFB, Thailand in 1972-73.

This Wild Weasel Thud was TOC by the USAF on 23rd November 1963 as a F-105E. It was converted to a -G in 1968 and went on to be based at Korat RTAFB during the SE Asia conflict and was eventually SOC in 1980. It went on to become part of the NMUSAF Loan Program and is pictured undergoing restoration at the Joe Davis Heritage Airpark.

This F-105 is one of the casualties from the Museum of Aviation clearout and was pictured 'in transit' at Chino on the way to her new home at the Pacific Aviation Museum, Pearl Harbor.
