This aircraft is former Aviopacifico DC-3 HC-ALD, impounded at the border town of Tabatinga circa 1997. This is where the Rio Amazonas meets the borders of Brazil, Peru and Colombia. The plane remained stored at Tabatinga airport until Oct 2011, when it was preserved in the garden in front of the local zoo/museum in Tabatinga, a 10 minute walk from the airport. The cabin and cockpit are in a terrible state, because they are accessible. Data plate was checked and confirmed as ex USAAF 42-100583.

Just outside Manizales, Colombia sitting on a mountain edge, is this theme bar called the Mayday-Bar. This DC-9-15 is line #35, built in 1966! Flew most of its life, from 1976 till 1993, for British Midlands. Last operator was Intercontinental de Aviacion, a local Colombian airline, as HK-3827X. The airplane has been at this location since 2015. The terrace is very small so you can only get the whole plane in a picture from the main road.

Volar helicopter ready for pleasure flights around El Penol and the scenic Embalce del Penol. This area is located aprox 2.5 east of the city of Medellin. There is usually only a helicopter present during the weekends. This helicopter is normally based at Medellin Olaya Herrera. Some luxury hotels in the area have their own helicopters.

Aircraft approaching Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport runway 12 descend through approx 2000 feet when crossing the beach just north of the old Jaffa district. The beach is far from perfect for good photography but good enough for some number spotting on a Saturday morning with a good cup of coffee. This Sukhoi SuperJet was delivered in white c/s according to the Soviet database, but has since been clearly painted with red wings.
