After retirement in late 1989, this Corsair was transferred to the 166th TFS within the Ohio Air National Guard. After retirement, the A-7D was flown to AMARC for storage on 25 September 1992. It received inventory code AE0226. In November 1996 it was unfortunately scrapped by National/SW.

After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the 6512th Test Squadron at Edwards. It was eventually retired in April 1992 and transferred to the 8th Air Force museum at Barksdale AFB (LA).

After retirement in late 1989, this Corsair was flown over to Kirtland AFB (NM) for preservation at the gate.

After retirement, the SLUF was flown to AMARC for storage on 3 August 1992. It received inventory code AE0190. In August 1997 it was moved to the HVF West Yard Scrapyard.
