While Loganair's own Twin Otter G-BVVK was away on a D check, HB-LOK was leased from Zimex Aviation and used on the scheduled services to Tiree and Barra/Benbecula along with G-BZFP.

Carrying Terra Surveys titles and logo, taxi-ing for departure from Prestwick after an extended transit. One of many Dakotas modified for survey work passing through over the years for duties in Europe and the Middle East, a role now fulfilled by Basler BT-76s. Wfu in Malta in 1980. Passed to Hal Far Fire School in 1984. Transferred to storage with the Malta Aviation Museum in 1996.

Overshooting Prestwick's then Runway 13. Built by Short Brothers and Harland, Belfast. Given the short transit time, approaches at Prestwick were often used by the manufacturer for test and training flights. Leased to Inter City Airlines in April 1981. Re-registered G-OGIL in 1989. Damaged beyond repair in a taxi-ing collision at Newcastle in 1992. Gill Air bought it from the insurers for spares. Remains later preserved at the North East Aircraft Museum, Sunderland.

Carries "Jaguar Support Aircraft" titles which refer to it accompanying SEPECAT Jaguar demonstrator XX846 on a Middle East sales tour. Built in 1959 and entered service with BEA in 1961. Served for 3 years in the USA with Universal Airlines, returning to Saggitair in 1969, then transferring to ABC in 1973. Damaged beyond repair at Belfast in 1982 when the right main undercarriage collapsed on landing.

Seen at Prestwick, about to go transatlantic to St John, NB (together with N17682). Entered military service in 1961 as G306 of the Ghana Air Force at Takoradi, retiring in 1973. At the time of this photograph the Otter was owned by Air Craftsmen Ltd of St John, NB, which specialised in buying and refurbishing ex-military Otters, and then selling them on to commercial operators. N17683 became C-GNLA, initially with Newfoundland Labrador Air Transport, and was operated commercially on Canada's Atlantic seaboard mainly from Goose Bay, NL. Written off in October 1990 when it sank into Shapio Lake, NL, following a landing accident.

Crew training at Prestwick. Made its last commercial flight little over a year later in January 1982. Ferried to RAF Cosford in May 1982 and displayed as part of the British Airways Collection. This last surviving Trident 1C was broken up in 2006, with its cockpit section being retained and donated to the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, Scotland, where it continues to be exhibited.

Seen here taxi-ing for Prestwick's then Runway 31, fitted with airborne early warning radar and serving with 8 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth. After retirement in 1991, ferried to the USA where it spent time at the Polar Air Museum, Minnesota, and on the CAF ramp at Midland, Texas. As the world's last airworthy Mark 2, it made its final flight on 16 December 2007 to Tucson Pima County Air and Space Museum, Arizona.
