This 1977 Puma is used by Erickson Evergreen Helicopters but leased to the US Navy Military Sealift Command under a contract of Geo-Seis Helicopters. The US Navy awarded Geo-Seis on 23 Nov 1999 a USD 20.3 million 3-year fixed price contract with an additional USD 10.9 million 2-year option to Geo-Seis Helicopters, Inc. The Fort Collins (CO) company Geo-Seis operated two SA330Js aboard three MSC combat stores ships on a rotating basis beginning in Jan 2005. The commercial helos deployed aboard the ships all over the world and operate often from shore bases for vertical replenishment missions.

Taking part in a NATO-organised helicopter meet with the contestant's number on the side of the aircraft. The Bundesgrenzschutz is an organisation that protects Germany's borders. It reports to the Ministery for the Interior so is not a military unit.

This Puma was a new addition to the Bristows fleet when seen at their Redhill base in 1977. It left the UK for Australia in 1982 becoming VH-WOD, and was last noted as N505R some years ago. Scanned from a slide

One of the very few SA 330 Puma registered in USA. Ex D-HAXD and EC-JYF.

This South-African Puma was involved in the humanitarian relieve mission during a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Kashmir in October 2005. Unfortunately, month's later, the Puma crashed in mountainous terrain near Chinari, Kashmir during landing while participating in a relief flight for the Red Cross on 9 March 2006. Both crew escaped the incident injured, but stayed alive. The SA330J was damaged beyond repair.

While still wearing the "HT" serial and VIP transport colors, this Puma had already been equiped with the rescue crane and was showing the SAR 801 squadron badge. It would be registered later as HD.19-7.

VH-JRO never made it on to the Australian register and was instead stored at Perth until it resumed its previous identity PH-SSB. The reason is not known but at the time of the photo the tail rotor was receiving attention to its hydraulics and electrics.

PH-SSB arrived in Australia for local operator Jayrow. It was expected to became VH-JRO but never did. It returned to Schreiner Helicopters and was later sold in Italy as I-EHPJ.

VH-WOF was shipped to the UK in October 1984 and became G-BFKZ. It returned to Australia in 1986 and was damaged beyond repair when it ditched off Dampier, Western Australia, on May 12, 1991.
