A 1969 built 707 originally with American Airlines. Photographed while on lease to Global International Airways that went from 1981 to 1986. Next flying with Denver Ports of Call/Skyworld as N712PC from 1986 to 1989 and Omega Air from 1986 to around 1995. The aircraft ended it's days with Bin Mahfooz Aviation as C5-AMM in Gambia, West Africa.

After 12 years with AA, this 707 was leased by SPIA just two months before this shot, later being bought outright as N145SP. Became 4X-ATG with El Al in 1989 then back to N145SP with Florida West in 1992 followed by Seagreen. Scrapped at El Paso in 1999

Sold to Global International in 10.83, going on to Denver Ports of Call in 11.85 becoming N712PC and then bought by a leasing company in 10.89. Ended up with Mahfooz Aviation as C5-AMM in early 1996. Reportedly broken up at Sharm-el-Sheikh 12.03

N8437 was operated by American from July 1969 to March 1981 when it was sold to Global International.

N8439 at Sydney's then new international terminal, now called Terminal 1 and greatly expanded. The 707 was sold in 1983 to Denver Ports of Call travel club as N457PC.

I have always admired the nice colours of Denver based travel club Ports of Call. The company was founded in 1966, and when this photo was taken they operated an interesting fleet of ten B707s and three rare Convair 990s. Although the 707s sometimes visited Amsterdam during the mid 1980s, their 990s unfortunately never did. In 1986 the company changed its name to Skyworld Airlines, but business was declining and they were forced to shut down in 1994.
