This aircraft was actually built as AT-6C Harvard Mk II, USAAF 41-33767, to an RAF order (EX794). It was, however, shipped straight to New Zealand in August 1943 and became NZ1051. It served with the RNZAF until 1978 when it was sold. It flew for a time in these fake Japanese markings before being repainted into a non-authentic but stunning US Navy colour scheme.

Built for USAAF as 42-3933. After reconditioning the aircraft served the SAAF from 1953 until 1996.

This ex-RNZAF aircraft was purchased from New Zealand in 2001 after a 17-year restoration that hadn't been quite completed. It first flew in Australia in December 2002 and remained in primer/fake Zero markings until recently when it was re-done in these stunning and authentic US Navy markings.

Although painted in this superb USN scheme, this aircraft was actually built as AT-6C Harvard Mk II, USAAF 41-33767, to an RAF order (EX794). It was, however, shipped straight to New Zealand in August 1943 and became NZ1051. It served with the RNZAF until 1978 when it was sold and entered the hands of the warbird community.

This aircraft was built to an RAF order as Harvard Mk IIa EX185, but was shipped directly to New Zealand in 1942, becoming RNZAF NZ1007. It remained with the RNZAF until disposed of in 1978. The aircraft was then restored in Australia 1981-87, making its first post-restoration flight on 22 April 1987. It is seen here pulling into position for static display at the Narromine Airshow.
