Buttonville based Toronto Airways was a well established pilot training and charter business when it started regional scheduled service circa 1979. Several Beech 99 airliners were bought and operated as Torontair. This 1975 Beech 99 arrived from Rio Airways in March 1981. Torontair assets were purchased by Austin Airways in June 1986 who were themselves merged into Air Ontario in August 1987. The aircraft moved on to Bearskin Airways in December 1988. It was sold and exported to the USA as N192WA in January 1999 for Piper East / Wiggens Airways.

Leased by Ameriflight as N113GP from GP Express Airlines in 1995 and later bought, previously N64466 delivered to Skyways of Ocala/Air Florida Commuter in 1983

Beech 99 U-46, built in 1968, was last noted in storage at Gap, France, as EC-LZK in 2023.

At the time of upload in 2024, 56-years old Beech 99 c/n U-14 was active with Bemidji Airlines as N70NP.

Alpine Air lost their Beech 99 c/n U-15 in August 2004, when it crashed into mountains on a night flight from Billings to Kalispell MT.

Delivered to Sunbird Airlines as N6534A in 1982. Reregistered as N998SB in 1984. To CC Air in 1986, Air New Orleans then Kentucky Air Lines in 1987, Air New Orleans in 1989 and Ameriflight in 1990. Still operational in 2024.

Bearskin operated this Beech 99 1989 - 2007. Updating previous histories of this aircraft, National Aerotech Aviation stored the aircraft at Cherokee County Regional Airport (KCNI) in Georgia as N102NA until sold to Trans Island Air 2000 and registered 8P-DCA in 2017. The airline was re-starting operations in 2017, but shut down a year later with the aircraft stored at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados.

Still active for Ameriflight in April 2024.

Ex HK-3040, this Beech C99 was taken on strength by the PNC in April 1990. Unfortunately, it was lost in a fatal crash on 2 May 2018.

This 1975 Beech 99, previously SE-GRB, was registered to Kenn Borek in November1978. It was leased to various airlines as well as operated by Kenn Borek until briefly registered to Planes & Parts Ltd (a company owned by a former Ken Borek pilot specializing in aircraft delivery flights) in December 2012. The aircraft was delivered to Air Turks & Caicos and registered VQ-THL in January 2012. The airline was re-branded as InterCaribbean Airways in 2013.

This aircraft used to operate over night cargo flights out of Luton. Delivered to Trans Michigan Air Lines as N8013R in Jun 1969. To Great Lakes Commuter in Mar 1970. To Cascade Airways in May 1977. To Canada as C-GESP with Trent Air in Jan 1982. To Nightflight in the UK as G-NUIT in Sep 1983. To Germany as D-IEXB with Extra-Executive Transport in Jun 1984. To Nightexpress in Jan 1993. To Pasadena Aviation as N999DZ on 09 Jun 2014. To Alpine Air Express on 01 Apr 2020 and still current in 2024.

Chile was one of the very few military operators of the Beech 99A. Nine were delivered in 1970/71 and initially flown by Grupo 11 at Quintero, the last aircraft was finally withdrawn in 2010. 308 was placed onto the civil register in March 2000 as CC-KIW for operation by the Chilean Army Aero Club and sold to a private operator in November 2003 as CC-PLL. Registered in March 2005 to Mansfield Heliflight in the US as N391MH and returned to Chile as CC-CFM with Inversiones Aereas Patagonia (Aerocord) in January 2007. Crashed and destroyed shortly after take off from Puerto Montt in July 2008.
