VH-EGX was written off when it failed to climb after take-off from Boigu Island, Queensland, on March 25, 1988.

VH-DTY was registered in April 1967.

VH-DRI was destroyed in a crash at Walgett, New South Wales, on October 9, 1994.

VH-DPY was registered in January 1967.

VH-DPX was written off when it overran the runway landing at Maer Island, Queensland on April 7, 1987.

VH-DQY was withdrawn from use in 2000. Thunderbird Aviation was an early third-level airline operating between Sydney and the Hunter Valley. Third level airlines were intended to fill the void from the withdrawal of DC-3s from passenger services. This had left many regional towns without air services. It was to prove a short-term answer and most of the affected communities no longer have air services. The operating economics of light twins, shrinking rural communities, improved roads and restricted access to major airports such as Sydney all took their toll.

VH-CJV was registered from September 1965 until it sold in New Zealand as ZK-DFT in August 1971.

Crashed into the sea off Inverloch, Victoria, on November 17, 2007

VH-CGE was registered from June 1978 to October 2000 when it reregistered VH-NRE. It is not known if "La Belle Ciseau" (The Beautiful Scissor) was the name of the operator or the aircraft.

VH-CBW was flown by Nationwide Air Service on behalf of the commission. It had previously been used by Cheynes Beach Whaling Company for whale spotting. VH-CBW was withdrawn from use in 1982.

Registered VH-DOT in 1965, then VH-ATI and finally VH-AZW in 1967. This aircraft spent part of its life being used for fish spotting off the Tasmanian coast. On April 8, 1981 it suffered an accident at Queensland's Rosewood Island and was cancelled.
