When the CH-113A Labrador retired from RCAF service in July 2004, two aircraft were assigned to the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering at Canadian Forces Base Camp Borden, near Angus, Ontario.This aircraft started life as a CH-113 Voyageur with the Canadian Army and then served with 450 Sqn. before becoming a SAR aircraft in the mid-1970s and being upgraded to CH-113A configuration at Boeing in Arnprior, ON. In 2010, the aircraft became part of the collection of the Greenwood Aviation Military Museum, at CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia, a former CH-113 Labrador base.

Sikorsky Aircraft leased this corporate S-92A, C-FUND from AIC Global Holdings in 2013 and used it to help celebrate the company's 90th anniversary at HAI Heli-Expo 2013 at the Los Vegas Convention Center. Igor Sikorsky launched the company in the U.S. on March 5, 1923. This S-92A was built in 2004 and imported to Canada in 2008 by AIC Global Holdings, which was founded by Jamaican-Canadian billionaire Michael Lee-Chin. It is based at Hamilton Airport (YHM) and sometimes in Jamaica. AIC also owns a Bell 206B, Leonardo AW139, Sikorsky S-76C and Bombardier Global Express.

This CH-113A Labrador served with the Canadian Army and with No. 450 Sqn before being reassigned to the SAR role in the mid-1970s after Canada acquired eight CH-147 Chinooks. When the Labrador fleet retired in July 2004, this was one of two aircraft that spent about six years at Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering as training aids. In about 2010, the aircraft joined the collection of the Comox Air Force Museum, CFB Comox, Lazo, BC on Vancouver Island, a former CH-113 Labrador SAR base. The aircraft wears a CH-113 retirement decal on the side of its nose.

The York Regional Police started helicopter operations with a donated Enstrom 480B which was replaced by this Eurocopter EC120B. This helicopter was imported by Eurocopter Canada Ltd. in Aug 2000 and sat in inventory as C-GGVW until delivered to York Region in January 2003 as C-GYRP. The helicopter is based at Toronto Buttonville Airport and patrols between the north border of the City of Toronto and Lake Simcoe.

When Styrian Spirit airlines of Austria ceased operations on March 24, 2006, they were flying four CRJ200s and one CRJ700. Two CRJ200s were flown to North America (OE-LSC and LSD and subsequently flown by ALMA de Mexico and Voyageur Airways. This is probably OE-LSC stored on the Bombardier/Voyageur Airways ramp at North Bay Airport after its Austrian registration was painted out.

This former US Airways Express Dash 8-100 was one of four stored at North Bay Airport on June 6, 2006. It was delivered new to Mesaba, a Northwest partner, in Oct 1992 and later flew for Allegheny and Piedmont Airlines. In December 2006 it joined the fleet of Blue Bird Aviation in Kenya as 5Y-VVP

This former Irish Air Corp SA365F Dauphin II, 247, was imported to the US and displayed at HAI Heli-Expo 2008 in Houston, Texas. It was re-sold to the Armada de Chile later the same year. The US registration appears on the top of the tail fin.

Eurocopter Canada Limited of Fort Erie, Ontario delivered this EC120B to businessman Shawn Murray of Barrie, Ontario in April 2007. Between July 2008 and August 2009 it was leased to National Helicopters Ltd. of Bolton, Ontario where it was photographed at the company heliport during an open house.

This 1942 Piper J3C 65 Cub was the smallest aircraft to participate in the Expo 86 Bushplane Flypast on ay 5, 1986. It was owned by The Hon. Stephen Rogers, a cabinet minister in the BC provincial government, and the member of a wealthy family that owned a sugar refinery. It is seen here about to takeoff from the Fraser River next to Pitt Meadows Airport (YPK) for a flight over the Expo 86 site in downtown Vancouver. The aircraft was imported to Canada in 1974 and in 2021 was still owned by a pilot in the Vancouver area.

Aerial photo from a R44 of some of the 34 helicopters that attended the 2019 HeliClub fly-in at Saint-Jovite airport near the Mont-Tremblant resort, Quebec. HeliClub is the brainchild of HelicoStore, which was founded in 1992, and established the club for Quebec helicopter owner-pilots. The 1,006 metre (3,300 foot) turf airport was established in the early 1920s by F.H. "Tom" Wheeler to welcome fly-in visitors to the family's Gray Rocks hotel, the first resort in the Laurentian mountains and the first resort in Canada to operate an aircraft. It was also the birthplace of Wheeler Airlines.

This DHC-2 Mk III Turbo Beaver was first delivered to the Province of Ontario in October 1967 and is one of five still in service with the Ontario Ministry Of Natural Resources as of late 2021. The aircraft are used for a wide range of wildlife, environment and wildfire management duties, with the landing gear changed between wheel/skis and amphibious floats on a seasonal basis so the aircraft can land in remote areas.

RCAF Picton was built as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) on a high plateau overlooking the town of Picton. It was home for the RAF's No. 31 Bombing & Gunnery School when it officially opened in April 1941. The school operated Anson, Battle, Bolingbroke and Lysander aircraft and offered six-week courses in bombing, navigation and air gunnery until it was disbanded in Nov. 1944. The wartime film "Captain of the Clouds" was partially shot here. It's one of the few airports in Canada with most of its wartime buildings intact and also home for an Air Cadet gliding school.

Canada's Regional 1 Airlines of Calgary rebranded as Aspire Airlines in the early summer of 2021 when it was only flying Dash 8-100, C-GWRI. This aircraft was delivered new to Germany in April 1988 (as D-BERT) and flew with Contact Air, DLT and Lufthansa CityLine. In Apr 1994 it joined the fleet of Era Alaska (as N882EA), and was later imported to Canada in Dec 2013 by Avmax (a leasing company) in Calgary, and flown by its Regional 1 subsidiary. Regional 1 used to fly lots of crew change flights to northern Alberta (until oil prices collapsed) and charters from YVR to salmon fishing resorts.

DHC-8-400 N814WP and DHC-8-100 N847EX in Island Air colours are seen here stored at North Bay Airport. These aircraft briefly wore these colours.

This Dash 7 was delivered to Brymon Airways as G-BRYB in December 1981 and flew with the airline for almost 15 years. It returned to Canada in 1995 as C-FYXT and was noted parked in Calgary 1996-1997 and at North Bay by 1999. In 2000, it was registered to Voyageur Airways in North Bay as C-GGUN. This photo shows the aircraft carrying C-FYXT and C-GUNN with propellers removed. It is believed to have been scrapped sometime after 2009.

The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum finally flew their reproduction of the 1914 Curtiss flying boat "America" from the surface of Lake Keuka at the museum's 2008 seaplane fly in Hammondsport, NY. In 1907, telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell formed the Aerial Experiment Association (AEA) to develop aircraft and he recruited motorcycle and engine builder Glenn Curtiss to help. Design work began at Bell's estate in Nova Scotia and later moved to Curtiss' workshops in Hammondsport where four AEA aircraft were built and flown in 1908. In 1909, the AEA disbanded and Curtiss established his own company.

This Bell 407 is in the colours of PHI Air Medical, a subsidiary of PHI Helicopters. It was displays at the HAI Heli-Expo 2008 which was held in downtown Dallas was photographed departing from a temporary heliport used by fly-in aircraft. Between 30 and 60 helicopters are typically displayed at Heli-Expo with the majority flying into the show and others arriving on trailers.

This Agusta A119 Koala from the State of Mexico was displayed at HAI Heli-Expo 2008 held in the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. It was photographed departing the Convention Center's temporary heliport after the trade show. The helicopter has an external water tank under the belly for fighting wildfires.

Bombardier painted this former Horizon Airlines Dash 8-400 for lease to Island Air in Hawaii, but it may never have never entered service. It was seen stored at North Bay Airport where Bombardier Aerospace leased the former RCAF base hangars to assemble the CL-415 water bomber and store and maintain regional aircraft receive in traded in from airline airlines, etc. Voyageur Aerospace now fully occupies the hangars and stores Dash 8s at the airport owned by its parent company Chorus, which also owns Jazz, the Air Canada Express operator.
