Cessna 180H, CF-UIG, was imported to Canada in 1966 and has operated on floats most of its career. It was part of Terrace & Prince Rupert-based Trans-Provincial Airlines' (TPA) fleet of 24 aircraft in 1970 and probably joined the fleet in the 1960s. The aircraft remained with TPA though its purchase and sale by Jim Pattison Industries until the airline went bankrupt in 1993. After five subsequent owners in British Columbia including Fort Langley Air, it's been based in La Ronge, Saskachewan since November 2020.

Tyee Airways Ltd. acquired this Cessna 180 seaplane CF-UFD, new from Vancouver Cessna dealer Staron Flights Ltd. on March 17, 1966 and operated it through November 1977 when it was sold to K.D. Brodacki in Edmonton, Alberta. It was photographed at the Tyee dock at the Bayshore Inn at the foot of Cardero Street in Vancouver. Tyee Airways was owned by Al Campbell and based in Porpoise Bay in Sechelt, BC, which is about 50 km northwest of Vancouver on the Sunshine Coast. Tyee utilized the public seaplane dock in Sechelt and had a maintenance base on East Sechelt Road. Exported to USA, April 1982.

Air Plains Services markets their 300 horsepower Cessna upgrade as the 180XP. The aircraft carries "Inpulse" advertising highlighting another FAA Approved Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) that enables the aircraft to utilize unleaded automotive fuel.

Built in 1966 as N9909V, it was exported the same year to Canada where it became CF-VBG. Somewhere between 1974 and 1984 it was reregistered as C-FVBG. In Nov-1993 this was cancelled when it became N1966K. In Apr-2018 this was cancelled on export back to Canada where it was registered C-GRMK in May-2018. As such it is still current in 2022.

Built in 1966 and here arriving from its Sechelt base. Since this 2009 shot all red areas except for pin striping have been repainted grey plus three-blade propeller and wing-tip landing lights have been installed.

This 1966 built 180 with a smart paint scheme relocated from Quebec to Merrit/BC (CAD5) in March. I had to grab this half-sunlit shot before it was hangared after arrival.
