Ordered by the US Army Air Corps as B-23 Dragon 39-36. Reclassified as a UC-67 transport in 1944. Civilianised postwar. Here undergoing maintenance at Boeing Field in 1973. Now preserved.

Prior to restoration. Seemingly marked as 'N5340', due to previous registration N534C showing through.

Delivered to th USAAF as 39-51 it carried the registration N61Y early in its civilian career in the late 1940s and into the 1950s. Has the small "GLC" logo on the tail.

Procured by the USAAC as 39-57. Redesignated C-67 on transfer to transport role. Exhibited at Kermit Week's Tamiami facility during restoration work.

Douglas B-23 bomber (USAAF serial 39-59) using DC-3 wings. 38 built. This aircraft converted to UC-67 transport role. Sold to Pan Am in 1945. Bought by Mecom Oil in 1964 and abandoned at Hellenikon in 1968, instructional airframe for the Delta Technical School in the 1970s, broken up in the Summer of 1986.

The B-23 Dragon was a much-improved variant of the B-18 Bolo. The last 38 B-18s on order were built as Dragons in 1939-40, but never used in combat. This one saw use as a UC-67 transport.
