Delivered to the East German Air Force as 401 in 1973 this Hoplite was active for the border troops. In 1990 she was transferred to the Volkspolizei and later that year, after German reunification she was taken over by Berlin Police as D-HZPM. But it seems, that she was never active, nither for East German Police nor for Berlin Police. Previously preserved at a playground at Borkum island, Germany and at Cottbus Flugplatzmuseum this Mi-2 was brought to Altenburg in 2009.

This Hoplite was TOC by the Czechoslovakian Ministry of the Interior in January 1976. In March 1981 it was transferred the the Czechoslovakian AF and then, after the two states separated, it went to the Czech AF. The frame was retired around 1998 and is now part of the very friendly, new museum that is definately worth a visit when in South Bohemia in the summer.

This dilapidated Hoplite was previously 3621 of the Polish AF and is now on display outside a bunker complex that has been converted into a museum. The Polish troops in this bunker defended and resisted valiantly the advances of invading German troops into the town of Węgierskiej Górki in September 1939.

According to the owner this Hoplite was active in Poland and the faded Polish Medical Air Rescue colours seem to confirm that.
