This Mi-2 was delivered to the Czechoslovak AF around August 1991 and then transferred to the Czechs in January 1993. The helicopter is now preserved in a garden in Tišice.

The sixth prototype of the Z-37 and was delivered in July, 1965 ( to what?) later being registered OK-UJE with flight testing carried out in the USSR. In August 1967 it was transferred to the Aviation Research Institute (VZLÚ) in Prague but sometime in 1968 was damaged by a hurricane but rebuilt using parts (wings, center plane, engine) from Z-37 cn 007, OK-UJC. It made its last flight in June, 1974, completing just over 477 hours and 2514 take-offs. It was transferred to VHÚ (Kbely museum parent organisation) in January 1975 and has been on loan to this fire-fighting museum since April 2011.

This Hoplite was first delivered to the Czech Ministry of the Interior (FMV) in July 1990 and transferred over to the Czech police in January 1993. During this period the Czech Bovernment had noted the success of helicopters around Europe in helping the emergency services and so from 1st April 1987 the (Czech) Air Rescue Service (Záchranná služba - Air Ambulance) began operating. This helicopter is on display in the excellent Fire Protection Exhibition museum in recognition of this fact.

Although eight "lifting fuselage" CBY-3 prototypes were built between 1923 and 1945, and despite a very impressive performance the type did not gain acceptance from the aircraft industry and so was not put into production. This is the sole remaining CBY-3 and was built by the Canadian Car and Foundry. Unfortunately it lay abandoned, stripped and vandalised for many years at Baltimore Friendship airport (now KBWI) but was acquired by NEAM in 1972. It has recently been superbly restored and is now on display in the Civil Hangar at this wonderful museum.

This 707 was delivered to Pan Am in August 1959 and eventually broken up at Boeing Field (BFI) in August 1981. The cockpit section and all its instruments was saved and is now on display at this super museum.

This B-25 was delivered to the USAAF in June 1944 but immediately placed into storage in Texas and then Missouri. The plane was acquired by the Dominican Air Force as FAD 2502 in 1948 but little is known of its service there. It returned to the United States through a disposal sale with the Dominican government and assigned the registration N3970C. Nothing went through and the plane fell into disrepair until it was donated to NEAM in 1960. It was severely damaged when a tornado struck the museum in October 1979 but has since been beautifully restored.

This 339 was delivered just over a week previously and is pictured operating DE2017, taxiing out to rw13R for departure to Frankfurt (FRA).

This An-2 was originally delivered to MÉM Rep. Szolgálat in March 1975 before going on to fly with Air Service Hungary, Légörvény Kft. and RSz Coop Kft. It was pictured parked at LHBC during my visit.

This An-2 was originally delivered to the Belorussian directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-54880 in December 1979. It was exported to Hungary and became HA-MAY in March 1995 with Air Patrol Kft., before joining Veko Reklám Fotó in September 2000.

This An-2 was originally delivered to the Belorussian directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-40830 in April 1977. It was exported to Hungary and became HA-ABR in July 1993 with Aero Esztergom. From January 1994 it flew with Tuningair Kft., before joining Aviacrop in July 2001 and was parked at LHBC during my visit.
