This Tiger Moth was built at Hatfield in 1939 and used for pilot training during WWII. It was later converted to a crop-duster and came to the DHAHC in 1976.

This was the 30th Comet built, having been ordered as G-AMXH for BOAC. When that order was cancelled, the fuselage was strengthened and the aircraft taken over by the RAF in 1956 as a C.Mk.2 with 216 sqn. It was later modified for radio signals duties as a Mk.2R, at Hatfield and by Marshall's of Cambridge, going on to fly ELINT flights along the borders of the Warsaw Pact until superceded by Nimrod R.1s. The plane was retired to IWM Duxford in 1975 with 8,236 flying hours in over 3,200 flights but due to excessive corrosion, it was dismantled in 1992 and the nose donated to the DHAHC.

This 319 was originally delivered to EasyJet in March 2005 and flew with the airline until it was wfu in March 2020, although it had a lease period from November 2010 until March 2016 with easyjet Switzerland. The plane was stored first at Lasham (EGHL) and then ferried to EGBP in January 2022 and is now being scrapped.

This 319 was delivered to TAP- Air Portugal in June 1998 and flew with the airline until wfu in November 2020. It was ferried to EGBP the following month and scrapped in May 2023 with only the nose section remaining. The nose section of sister-ship CS-TTG is behind the police Explorer hulk (G-COTH).

In 1943, a contract was placed for 100 Type LNE-1 two-seat training gliders for the USN from the Gould Aero Division of the Pratt-Read Company. The type was intended for the training of Navy/Marine Corps glider pilots to land Marines on Pacific islands during WWII. This was quickly discaded as impractical and so 73 of the 75 LNE-1's were transferred to the USAAF and re-designated TG-32s (the USN kept two (31506 and 31507)) for further testing). The USAAF did not use any TG-32s and all were put into storage until the end of WWII, then sold off through the Reconstruction Finance Corporation.

This B-29, as 44-61975 was delivered too late to see action in WWII but was used post-war in various training, tarnsport and resupply roles. Its final flight was circa 1960 to the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD but was fortunately never shot at. NEAM (then Bradley Air Museum) acquired the frame in 1973 but the rear fuselage was found to be extremely corroded so the salvage crew were instructed by the USAF to take the rear fuselage instead of 44-61739. Restoration started in 1998 and lasted five years. The scheme chosen for repaint was Jack's Hack, worn by Tinian combat veteran 44-61566 of the 468th BG of the 58th BW.

This 77W had been an early morning arrival from Hong Kong (HKG) and was then parked up for the day on this T2 stand. The plane is about to be pushed back and towed to T3 for preparation for the evening departure as CX250 back home.
