June 4, 2001 while operated by Rzhevka Aviation Enterprise was flying tourists to fishing from the landing site "Varzina" in Murmansk to the area of the Sidorovka River. On landing came down hard, bounced and hit the ground with a pitch angle about 45°. Touch the ground on the cockpit and rotor blades. The helicopter rolled over to starboard and sustained significant damage. 6 passenger injured, no fatalities.

Sitting atop this contraption in the playground of the Van Horne Hoeve, a restaurant annex petting zoo. The 1973 Mil served with the East German Grenztruppen until the reunification year 1990. Destined for both the East and unified German Police thereafter but not taken up. Was preserved in Germany, France and elsewhere in the Netherlands, moved here in October 2014 and given this livery and small PS Aero logo and titles years later.

The frame was stored at Szolnok, Szentkirályszabadja and then Mezöfalva before being rescued by this super collection south of Budapest. It is in a queue for restoration and so it is great that it won't just rot away to dust somewhere.
