Parked on the military side of Brussel Int'l AP, Melsbroek, in early 1990. The fine looking Tuup was a very striking visitor. It was assigned to the 223rd Flight Unit. It started its life with the with the Soviet Air Force as Tu-134AK CCCP-65680, with manufacterer date 2 Dec 1976. The Tu-134 is equipped with a "Karpaty-S" HF communications suite (characterised by the fat dorsal fairing running all the way to the fin), hence the "AK" designation. It became 680 black on 22 Feb 1989. To Russian Air Force on 9 Apr 1992. Modified to Tu-134A-3 and was stripped of the Karpaty-S fairing. Reserialled to RA-65680, last reported in Nov 2019.

Taken when the airport was Berlin-Schönefeld in East Germany. Delivered to the Bulgarian Air Force as 050 in 1970. To Balkan as LZ-TUO in 1978. Withdrawn from use at Sofia in 1989 and used as a ground trainer. Moved to Silistra by 2006 and preserved.

Delivered to CSA as OK-IFN in 1978. To Georgian Airlines as 4L-AAE in 1997. Sold to Rus, flown to Zhukovsky and stored in 2000. Scrapped in 2013. Front fuselage remained there.

First fligth 1977, delivered new Aeroflot in January 1978 as CCCP-65681. 1989 681 "Black" Soviet Air Force. 1992 681 was converted to Tu-134A-3. 1994 CCCP-65681 223 Flight Unit State Airline. April 1998 RA-65681 223 Flight Unit State Airline. 1998 seen at CPH in full Aeroflot colours. Late 2016 stored at Novosibirsk. February 6th 2020 it swas ferried to Zhukovsky Airport, Moscow. Seen parked at the old apron at Fornebu, shot by my good friend Odd Einar Lønnve.
