Allocated to USAAF as 44-9137 but instead delivered to US Navy as 90407. Paint scheme very faded, but 90407 and "US Navy" still visible on the tail.

Ex USAF 44-9063, Pan Am, Swissair and Balair and Aer Turas. Operated for the Red Cross as LN-TUR. Became N88887 and EL-AJP and surprisingly returned to Europe in 1987. Last flight ZRH-FRA 28 September 1989 and now on display at the Berlin Airlift Memorial at Frankfurt Rhein-Main. Photographer not known.

Ex 43-17192, this early civil Skymaster was NX90423 for a while and is seen flying near Floyd Bennett Field here, with the bridge to the Rockaway Peninsula at the top of the photo. After USAAF service as 45-627 this aircraft was leased to Pan American as N88945 "Clipper Gladiator" in April 1947 serving until February 1954 when it was returned to the USAF. Retired from service in February 1973 it was stored at MASDC Tucson until civilianised as N88945 in early 1981, becoming N811E with Globe Air the following year. When Globe Air closed in 1985 it was stored until acquired by Brooks Air Fuel in June 1991 and converted as a fuel tanker, sadly it was written off on 8th October 1993 when it veered off the runway landing at Point Lay, AK., with a cargo of unleaded auto fuel.

Early January 2010, Haiti was struck by a massive earthquake. As the airport of its capital Port-au-Prince had only limited capacity to receive large aircraft, Dutch aid was flown to Curacao and reloaded onto Florida Air Transport's C-54G N406WA, which brought it to Port-au-Prince.

Ex FAC613, FAC690 is seen here in the museum at El Dorado in 2008. It was in use as the Colombian presidential aircraft with registration FAC613 between 1954 and 1972. First reported in the museum in 1991.

The 90th anniversary of Selfridge ANGB and the 60th anniversary of the USAF were the two themes of the Selfridge Open House & Air Show. C-54E 90414 was one of many visitors for the show.

Acquired from Air Siam in 1973 with the intention of starting a new operation, Eagle Aircraft Services.. Allocated G-BBVN and later LN-NAC but neither taken up. Scrapped at Southend in 1977.
