HR-1301 pictured here prior lifting off from the Cengkareng Heliport was built in March 2016 and immediately delivered to the Indonesian Air Force, which assigned it to the national SAR unit "BASARNAS", itself part of Wing 4 based at Bogor / Atang Senjaya AFB (WIAJ). In addition, BASARNAS also operates ten AS-365N3 Dauphin helicopters in the same overall orange paint scheme. For some unknown reason, only one AW139 was ordered so HR-1301 remains the sole of it's type in TNI-AU / BASARNAS service. Not visible on this picture is the rescue hoist installed on the RH side of the fuselage.

Ornge is the air ambulance service in the Province of Ontario. It operates a fleet of eight Pilatus Next Generation PC-12 turboprops and 12 Leonardo AW-139 helicopters. C-GYNO was photographed at Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport which is usually home for two AW139s. The other AW139 bases a located in Ottawa, Sudbury, London, Moosenee, Thunder Bay and Kenora. The Ontario Ministry of Health's air ambulance program launched in the late 1970s with a single IFR Bell 212 operating as "Bandage One" from Buttonville Airport, north of Toronto. A second 212 followed, then a BK117 and two S-76As.

Since late 2016, Westpac Rescue operates four AW139 helicopters from three bases, which are located at the airports of Belmont, Tamworth and Lismore. Covering the northeastern corner of New South Wales, three AW139 are on a 24/7 stand-by, while the 4th is either in maintenance or serves as a back-up. VH-ZXA pictured here was the first delivered in May 2016, followed by VH-ZXB (c/n 31733), VH-ZXC (c/n 31737) and finally VH-ZXD (c/n 31738). The yellow / red c/s stem from the beginnings with "Surf Lifesaving", while the white c/s represents the partnership with NSW Ambulance and NSW Health.
