T-255 was delivered to 334sq/Eindhoven on 25 Oct'04. The DC-10 arrived in the Netherlands in basic United Airlines c/s with 82,000 flight hrs on its clocks and with its former registration N1858U. Before its delivery, it has been stored at Marana (AZ) for some 3 years. On 01 Nov'05 it became T-255 and was converted in Italy for transport tasks. Due to cost reductions within the Dutch MoD, the DC-10 was only modified with a new cockpit and for personnel transport tasks. Further dwindling resulted in phasing out the a/c. Last flight on 29 Dec'13, and flown over to the UK for scrap on 11 Apr'14

Lost 26 May 1992, 120 miles south of Goose Bay, Newfoundland due to engine problems. The pilot ejected safely.

An unusual configuration: a Orpheus recce pod and no additional fuel tanks. This mission will not have lasted longer than 20 minutes.

The Starfighter was withdrawn in 1984 and put into storage at Ypenburg. In 1987 a spottersday was organized to photograph these aircraft. Although in open storage for over three years the condition of the aircraft was quite good.

This NF-5A wwas delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 5 February 1972. It was assigned to 314sq. Only a few months after delivery, on 26 May 1972, the Freedom Fighter made an emergency landing at Valkenburg after an explosion in the canon housing. The aircraft was repaired and was painted in this overall grey colour scheme in November 1984. It served 313sq from November 1987 and was withdrawn from use and stored at Woensdrecht from 29 June 1988. It was sold to Turkey as 3070 on 2 March 1990.

Lost 9 Aug 1993 near Volkel AB, the pilot ejected safely. The accident was caused by engine failure due to a problem with the inlet guide vanes.
