Former British Airways Trident re-painted in the striking yellow, white and grey colour scheme of the defunct Northeast Airlines. Displayed at the North East Aviation Museum at the site of the former RAF Usworth.

Originally with BEA, then BKS/BAS then Northeast then absorbed back into British Airways in the amalgamation

British Airways colour schemes were appearing after Northeast Airlines became part of the British Airways group in July 1973, but not yet on this aircraft. It does have small British Airways titles on the nose, where previously the British Air Services titles were.

Originally intended for Channel Airways, G-AVYC was instead rolled out at Hatfield in BKS colours during Dec 1968. Name changed to Northeast Airlines on 1 Nov 1970. After Northwest became part of the British Airways group in Jul 1973, she continued in service for another seven years, before succumbing to the scrapper's axe at Heathrow in May 1981.

Another shot from the days when 10L/28R was bordered by little more than a low wooden fence. Rolling off the Weybridge line in 1.58, this V.800 was sold by BEA in 5.68 to BKS, renamed Northeast in 11.70. Merged back into BA 4.74 and sold along with many other sister-ships to BAF in 1.84 as "Viscount Churchill". Wfu 1987 and b/u 2.93 (remains to Hanningfield Metals)

Operated by BKS Air Transport from new in February 1969. Name changed to Northeast Airlines on 1 November 1970 and fully merged into British Airways on 1 April 1976.

Delivered new to BEA in July 1958. Bought by BKS in April 1968 who changed their name to Northeast in November 1970. Merged into BA in April 1974.

A very unusual visitor to East Midlands Airport.
