This aircraft was built in 1967 as the tactical transport C.1 version but converted to E.3A standard in 1976 for calibration duties, hence the high-vis scheme. Her last flight was in July 94 when she arrived at Cosford for display at the RAF Museum.

Built in 1969 for the Queen's Flight at Yeovil as the penultimate Wessex off the production line. The HCC Mk.4 was identical to the HC Mk.2 except for a special VIP interior, external folding step below cabin door and an additional navigation suite. Served until retirement on 1st April 1998 and delivered to the RAF Museum for display in March 2002.

The Andover was a military transport variant of the HS.748 airliner, with a rear loading ramp and kneeling landing gear. It equipped overseas RAF squadrons at Seletar and Sharjah until these were withdrawn. This example was eventually used for calibration duties.

The fencing around ZE700 was more a warning to curious airport workers to keep clear rather than an attempt at security. It was parked on a part of the Qantas Jet Base, which was inaccessible to the public.
