F-GFUA was one of several airliners chartered to provide air services in Australia in 1989 after a dispute with pilots had grounded the major domestic airlines. F-GFUA was owned by aircraft leasing company Transpacific Enterprises, which shared common ownership with Ansett Airlines, one of the carriers caught in the dispute. However, it was flown on behalf of Australian Airlines, Ansett's rival.

This DC-6B served Aeromaritime from June 1959 until October 1971. It is departing from Ringway on a regular inclusive tour service to Nice.

Ex Phiippines PI-C296. Served Aigle Azur, Aeromaritime and UTA before retirement in 1970.

A pair of A300 wings has arrived at Ringway by road from the Chester factory. The lorry tractor unit is carefully propelling the wings into the Super Guppy's capacious fuselage before departure to the Airbus plant.
