This former French Navy Crusader (serial 1) wears false US Navy marks and is really ex-151732. It was written-off after a hard landing in June 1987 and joined the collection at Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune in December 1996. This was the first production P-3C and also the first ARIES II prototype. The Orion is here seen with Patrol Squadron (VP) 30, visiting NAS Valkenburg. It is parked alongside Dutch P-3C 306/V. After conversion to EP-3E it served the NAWC-AD and VQ-1 (PR-31 and later PR-507). It was moved for storage to AMARG on 26 July 2016.
