Moved from the Pima Air Museum for the airshow. Delivered to the USAAF as an AT-7 42-2438 in 1943. Civilianised as C18S N8073H in 1957. To the Pima Air Museum in 1982 and painted in its former military markings.

The photo was taken at RAAF East Sale in late 1961 or early 1962. It had a number of deployments in the early 1960s to RAAF East Sale with other B-57Bs as part of the USAF Crowflight deployments. Early 1962 it was back at East Sale in the same role of medium-level air sampling the filters were located in the special wingtip pods. Later in 1962, the USAF moved the Crowflight deployments to RAAF Laverton with Laverton hosting U-2s. The B-57Bs were stationed at the Avalon airfield. This aircraft sadly crashed after take-off from Laverton with the loss of both the crew on the 1962-09-17.

Joe Baugher's page indicates this aircraft was written 14th January 1980.

Delivered to the USAAF as 41-27369 in 1942. To N66668 in 1957 then to XA-MOL in 1958. To the USAF Museum at Castle AFB in 1981 and preserved unmarked. Left the museum in 1990 and went to Chino, CA. Last noted there around 1995, fate unknown.

New Mexico ANG A-7D pays a visit to March AFB

This is the last B-52D to leave March AFB bringing a close to bomber ops for the 22BW. The aircraft was flown to Barksdale AFB for display and the day was marred by frigid rain and hail just as the B-52 departed.

Delivered to the USAAF as 41-9525 in 1942. Civilianised as NC65434 in 1946. Reregistered as N65434 in 1950. To Beale AFB Museum in 1983 marked as 901. Moved to Jackson Barracks New Orleans, LA in 2006 when the museum closed.

"Its Hawg Wild" displayed at Imperial War Museum Duxford. This B-29 didn't participate to WWII but was involved in 105 war missions over Noth Korea with the 307th Bomber Group based at this time at Kadena, Japan.

A closer look at the "Fulton Star System" recovery gear as fitted to 65-0971 and 65-0985. Also clearly visible is the serial number on the forward fuselage.
