A classic Eagle marked as bossbird from Tyndall AFB in Florida.

This aircraft has recently been transferred from 25 Squadron to 56(R) Squadron. It still wears the tail markings of 25 Squadron and the new operators' nickname the "Firebirds" inscribed on the red and white chequered tail band.

This Eagle was built was TF-15A and delivered to the USAF in 1976. It flew with several units (1st TFW with tailcode FF and 58th TFTW/LA) before is was redesignated to F-15B. It was then transferred to the 57th TTW that became 57th FWW/WA before it was assigned to the 48th FIS at Langley AFB (VA) from late 1982. The Eagle arrived at Tyndall by late 1984 and received tailcode TY within 2nd TFTS of the 325th TTW. From April 1992 the F-15B flew with the 2nd TFS of 325th FW. Its career ended at AMARC hen it arrived in March 1993 with inventory code FH0056. The dual seater was scrapped by Feb'09.

A TY coded F-22A Raptor keeps it low during takeoff from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Even though it carries a TY (Tyndall) tail code, this Raptor belongs to the 19 FS / 199 FS.

This Fiscal Year 1975 Eagle was delivered to the USAF in 1976. Through the years it served the 1st TFW (FF), 33rd TFW (EG) and this 325th TTW (TY). The aircraft was stored at the 309th AMARG on 5 November 1992 and is still there.
