Registered as G-AXUR in 1969 and stored. Sold to the Ministry of Defence in 1972. Converted to a Jetstream T.1, first flew in 1973 and delivered to the RAF as XX479 in 1974. To the Royal Navy in 1976 and converted to a Jetstream T.2. To Predannack Fire School as instructional airframe A2611 in 1997. Remains scrapped in 2021.

Built by Handley Page ex F-BTMI, G-AXUO. Withdrawn from service on 29 October 2010 and stripped of its engines, but complete with red nose day adornment and 'cut here' markings. Used for fire training at Aberdeen/Dyce from 2012.

Carrying small 'Observer 90th Anniversary' titling on the rear fuselage.

For some unknown reason, XX479 had slight differences in markings from the rest of the squadron's Jetstreams. The black nose code has a white outline, and the red on the fin is divided by a white triangular section.
