Taken en-route over France on the way to an air show at Roanne. Before the Battle of Britain flight got the Lancaster and Dakota a Devon of 207 Squadron often provided the ground crew transport. On this occasion my late father Barry Taylor was the pilot and borrowed my camera to take these pictures. PM631 was built in Nov 1945 and entered service with the RAF in 1946 and joined 203 AFS between May 1949 and Jan 1950. Later flying with the Meteorological Research Flight before joining the BBMF on 14 Jun 1957. I am not sure of the squadron in this picture as code AD does not match a Spit sqn.
