This SBD was delivered to the RNZAF as NZ5062 in March 44 and flew 30 combat missions against Rabaul before being handed over to the USMC in May and allocated the BuNo 28536. Post war she was owned by MGM Studios who put her to work as a wind machine but, fortunately, bacame one of the first aircraft owned by Planes of Fame and was restored to airworthy status in 1982.

This Parrot was ferried across the Tasman as ZK-EAB and delivered to the RAAF as A19-039 on 12 June 1975. It served with 1 FTS at Point Cook and was retired in the early '90s, civilianised and became VH-WCT on 17 January 1994. Based in WA for a time, it's now resident in NSW. Ford-built B-24M Liberator while it was still on display at the Lackland AFB Traditions museum. It moved to Duxford, UK in 1999, and was replaced by a full-scale replica.
