This Chippie was built in 1950 for the RAF as a T.10, serial WB675. It was exported to Australia and became the second Chipmunk for the Royal Newcastle Aero Club to bear the registration VH-RNI on 19 December 1958. It was sold to the Royal Victorian Aero Club, becoming VH-RVH(3) on 4 October 1968. The RVAC sold it in early 1964 whereupon it became VH-AKB(3) on 24 January that year. It seems to have been withdrawn from use in 1969 and allocated the registration VH-ZAT in 1970. However, it is still flying as VH-AKB.

Aus-Air used to be an RPT mob operating Chieftains and a couple of Bandits out of Moorabbin. The name seems to have been taken over by a charter crowd operating out of Echuca, to whom this Chieftain, 'Spirit of Echuca', belongs. A 1978 model, it was originally registered N27399 in the USA until exported to Australia in 1988 and registered VH-LIL on 15 November that year.

Built to a 1941 order as a PT-17 (A75N1) model, USAAC serial 41-8001. Subsequent history unclear, but came to Australia where it was acquired by present owner's father as a wreck in 2007 and restored at Jandakot, replacing the 220hp Continental R-670 engine by a 300hp Lycoming R-680 making it an A75L300. Registered VH-RPS 19 August 2008. Re-registered VH-EEY on 02 December 2010. Ferried Jandakot to Echuca for the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in where it won a well-deserved Grand Champion award. Then ferried to a new home at Cessnock.

This aircraft was imported new into South Africa in 1947 and registered ZS-ULS, later ZS-BRE. Sold in Namibia (South West Africa then) in 1949. Last flight in about 1969. Exported to Australia and registered VH-IDH(2) on 14 September 2001. Its first post-restoration flight took place not long before it was photographed at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.
