VH-IOY gets airborne for its air show slot. It was originally operated by Australian members of the Confederate Air Force but in 1988 was bought by the Historic Aircraft Restoration Society.

This DC-3 also served with East West Airlines as VH-EWA and VH-EWE. It was registered VH-PWN in Nov 1967. it also served with Bush Pilots and saw time in Papua &New Guinea. It also served Dick Langs Desert Air Safaris. it Entered the New Zealand Register as ZK-AMS and later returned to Australia as VH-CWS This Registration later also used by another DC-3, c/n 26001.

First registered as N8278V 1981 entered the Australian Register as VH-ANA 2nd. June 1981. It was sold to Intrepid Aviation Partners 13th. December 1996. It was leased to Continental Micronesia 9th. December 1997 and registered N627DH it also carried the registration EC-HIG VH-VLI and 9M-NEP ? Deliverd to Neptune Air 6th October 2009

VH-BPL had a long history in Australia, starting with the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II. It went to Qantas after the war and used on services in Papua New Guinea, then an Australian territory. It passed to Trans- Australia Airlines when it replaced Qantas in the territory and then to Air Niugini on independence. It entered the Australian register again in 1982, as VH-BPL. It is now with the Qantas Founders Museum, at Longreach, Queensland, restored as a static exhibit in its original Qantas markings (VH-EAP).

Withdrawn from use at Brisbane Airport (YBBN) and later scrapped
