K25 slide scan. Built 1967 for TWA. Air Sinai 1982, withdrawn 1983. To Boeing/USAF in KC-135 modernization program and parted out at Davis Monthan. Not being APU equipped starting up a 707 was a cumbersome affair as after detachment of the GPU some poor soul had to crawl beneath the fuselage to the wingroot to disconnect and retrieve the air starter hose while the engines were already running.

Undated negative from FNG Archive. First flown from Radlett 10 February 1969 as G-8-5. Registered to Handley Page 28 April 1969, registered to Bavaria as D-INAH 22 October 1969. Crashed 6 March 1970 after hitting power lines on approach to Samedan. Bavaria introduced a workday Munich-Nuremberg-Munich Jetstream schedule offering 11 seats on 7 January 1970, the image probably being taken at a promotional event before. After the loss of their sole aircraft the route was suspended before being taken over by Cimber Air in summer 1970.

K25 slide scan. Built 1961 as N9746C for Western, converted to Freighter 1969. International Jetair CF-IJJ 1971. Nordic LN-MOI 1972, Fred Olsen LN-FOH 1973, leased to Air de Cologne during 1988, Amerer Air OE-ILA 1997, Buffalo Airways C-GLBA 2007. A bank holiday daystop was the one and only occasion the Electra would be seen during daylight, night shots being impossible for obvious reasons. Note the "Chartered from A/S Fred. Olsens Flyselskap" titles on the nose. The flight engineer had turned propellers straight for the daystop which was standard procedure with some carriers.
