Big Top 747 that was leased from Wilmington Trust after it's March 30, 1985 delivery. There were short sub-leases to Ansett Australia and the aircraft was re-registered as 9V-SKJ after returning the second time in September 1998. To Corsair International as F-HJAC in December 2001, then moving to Air Atlanta Icelandic, the aircraft was finally returned in February 2007. Stored at Châteauroux, France, it was broken up in 2008.

An hour before, its sister ship N550TZ arrived in Vancouver. A year later this airline joined the list of airlines that are no longer in operation.

Another Canadian airline that failed

One of five Electras operated by Northwest Territorial, this one was in the fleet from June 1981 to January 1991. It was sold to Air Bridge Carriers in the UK to become G-FNWY. The aircraft has since returned to Canada in 2003 with Air Spray as air tanker 485 registered C-GZVM.

This 737 was delivered to Pacific Western on December 19, 1973. Sold to EE&G in February 1983, it flew military and contractor employees to restricted locations. The unofficial airline is sometime known as Janet from their call sign. The aircraft was retired in 2005 and stored. Pictured in front of PWs hangar originally built by Canadian Pacific Airlines to service their Bristol Britannias, this hangar is now a Federal Heritage Building and dodged the fate of the Boeing Canada factory on the left of the photo. Erected in 1939 to build Catalina / Canso flying boats, it was demolished in 1980.

Registered in the US as N2419X in 1983 ahead of being ferried to Australia where it became VH-JAW.

From a cancelled order, this Convair went to the German Air Force 1962 - 74 via the Hughes Tool Company. Kelowna Flightcraft bought it in late 1979 for their charter operations. It was sold to Powell Air when that airline received Powell River to Vancouver authority in the summer of 1981. Returning to the USA as N204RA in May 1987, the airliner operated for Renown Aviation and later Laredo Air, before withdrawn and stored, first in Opa Locka, FL and moved to Roswell, NM circa 2000.

Burrard Air used this Beaver from about 1981 until sold to Harbour Air in Apr in 1988. Sold again in May 2019, the aircraft has been transported to Sweden for a re-build for the Swedish register.
