The garden where this An-2 is sitting belongs to Hausmeisterhof Wolfgang Maurer, an antique and home decoration shop. The poor old girl had some bent wingtips already before being brought here in March 2005, and some torn wing fabric shortly after that. Her condition has very much deteriorated since then.

This An-2 was originally delivered to the Moscow directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-44998 in February 1963. It was cancelled from the Soviet register in February 1988 and donated by the Soviet Union to a museum in Austria that then did not open. It flew illegally to Budaörs and was stored after an unsuccessful attempt to regsiter it HA-ABH. The plane ended up mounted on a Kraz-255 chassis and was given the fictitious reg HA-VER (although this is now carried by a Cessna 172). It is now stored in this company yard.
