Finland ordered an enlarged variant of the T.VIIIw seaplane. This was the first of two T.VIIIW/Cs completed. By May 1940 it wore Dutch markings and serial R-37, apparently requisitioned. 60 test flights under German control until damaged by storm. Finnish order meanwhile cancelled. Repaired aircraft flown to Travemünde in 1942. Stored and scrapped. Standard T.VIIIWs did see operational German service. Finland ordered an enlarged variant of the T.VIIIw seaplane. This was the first of two T.VIIIW/Cs completed. By May 1940 it wore Dutch markings and serial R-37, apparently requisitioned. 60 test flights under German control until damaged by storm. Finnish order meanwhile cancelled. Repaired aircraft flown to Travemünde in 1942. Stored and scrapped. Standard T.VIIIWs did see operational German service.
