The museum says that this is a Chanute 1896 replica, built in 1979 by Roger Adam, and loaned from the RSA since 1998. However, it doesn't really resemble a Chanute although it is clearly based on its design.

After the crash of his model II, only the 50hp Antoinette engine could be salvaged. That was used in the construction of a new model, the III. On 27-Sep-1908 it made its first flight, for a distance of 1500m. He continued testflying it for several months until his test field flooded. After his death in 1913 the plane was given to the City of Angers where it was kept under the vaults of the granary Saint-Jean where it was displayed until 1967. In 1986 the GPPA restored the aircraft for display in the Musée Régional de l'Air, renamed in 2013 Espace Air Passion.

The SG-38 is a German primary training glider from 1938 that was built in large numbers by several manufacturers and by gliding clubs. This one was built by Petera, but its German registration is unknown. It was captured in 1945 by allied troops and was one of the almost 300 that ended up in France. Also its French registration is currently unknown. From 1947 most of them were broken-up or destroyed, and by 2018 only 9 remained in France. This one was restored in 2013 by the Espace Air Passion museum.

F-AJUL first flew 09-Jul-1930. In Dec-1931 René Lefèvre flew it from Paris to Tananarive, Madagascar in 14 days. A year later, in Dec-1932 he flew it from Paris to Saigon, Vietnam in 10 days. The return flight was made in 8 days only. By 1957 it was still complete, but later the aircraft went into storage without the wings (which were burned) at the Musée Castel-Mauboussin at Cuers-Pierrefeu. In 1998 it came to the Musée Régional de l'Air at Angers-Loire which in 2013 changed its name to Espace Air Passion. It has a Salmson 9ADb engine of only 45 hp.

Built by Jacobs-Schweyer during the war, its German registration is unknown. After the war it was brought to France where it flew as "Weihe No.3", next as R-62 and in Dec-1957 it was registered as F-CBGT, in Dec-1964 changed to F-CRMD and cancelled Sep-1972. Next it was allocated F-CBGT but this was not taken up. In 1990 it was registered as F-CRMX. Its Certificate of Airworthiness expired in Apr-1997 and then it went to the Musée Régional de l'Air, in 2003 renamed Espace Air Passion at Angers.
