The first of 48 MS760s operated by the Argentine Air Force, the first twelve were manufactured in France and assembled locally, the remaining 36 were manufactured by FMA at Cordoba. First flown as A-01 in October 1958 and seen wearing a commemorative scheme celebrating 40 years service for the type. Used for Liaison, Target Towing, Training and Light Attack roles, the type was finally withdrawn in March 2007. The aircraft now forms part of the base museum collection

This CV580 was flying from Spain to Canada for new owner Nolinor, and made a fuel stop at Glasgow. Its next stop after leaving here was Keflavik in Iceland. (D60 ISO 100 1/250th & F9.5)

Never mind the aeroplane - after a few hours standing on the terrace that day I needed deicing!!

The volume of de-icing fluid being used was so great that sometimes the plane was almost obscured - quite impressive!
