Argentina received 28 ex USAF F-86Fs in 1960 to replace the Gloster Meteor and the type was finally withdrawn in 1986. Previously pole mounted on the base, C-124 was refurbished in the early 1990s and has since been part of the base museum collection.

The first of 48 MS760s operated by the Argentine Air Force, the first twelve were manufactured in France and assembled locally, the remaining 36 were manufactured by FMA at Cordoba. First flown as A-01 in October 1958 and seen wearing a commemorative scheme celebrating 40 years service for the type. Used for Liaison, Target Towing, Training and Light Attack roles, the type was finally withdrawn in March 2007. The aircraft now forms part of the base museum collection
