Built in 1980, delivered to Aeroflot's Tyumen division and transferred to Tyumen Avia Trans in May 1993. Seen at IEV as UR-26012 on overhaul in September 1996, then registered ST-AOF before returning to Tyumen Avia Trans as RA-26012 by the time of this photo. Back in Africa, it was noted at JNB on 7th July 2002 but was w/o two days later on approach to Antalya on a positioning flight from Asmara and Hurgada. The crew mistook road lighting for the runway lights and hit a power-line mast during a late go-around

I was a passenger on this, making a fuel stop at Noyabrsk en route from Novosibirsk to Salekhard. Built in 1971 and delivered to Aeroflot's West Siberia division (Novokuznetsk) and transferred to Novosibirsk Aviation Enterprise in March 1994. On to UTair Express by 2011, KrasAvia by 2015, IrAero by 2016 and Polar Airlines by 2018. Landed on the frozen Kolyma River, 80 metres to the right of the airstrip at Zyryanka Airport on 28th December 2023, aircraft undamaged and towed to airport
