Built in 1980, delivered to Aeroflot's Tyumen division and transferred to Tyumen Avia Trans in May 1993. Seen at IEV as UR-26012 on overhaul in September 1996, then registered ST-AOF before returning to Tyumen Avia Trans as RA-26012 by the time of this photo. Back in Africa, it was noted at JNB on 7th July 2002 but was w/o two days later on approach to Antalya on a positioning flight from Asmara and Hurgada. The crew mistook road lighting for the runway lights and hit a power-line mast during a late go-around This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
