First flown 1 August 1986 and delivered to Linjeflyg 15 August, merged into SAS 1 January 1993. To Air Botnia June 1999, to Branson Air/AirQuarius October 2003 who owned it until scrapped at Lanseria in 2014. Leased to various African airlines in that period including East African as 5Y-LLL, Airlink, SA Express, Air One Nine, Air Zimbabwe, Comores Aviation, Royal Jordanian, and SkyLink Arabia.

The Mexican Air Force flew the T-33 from 1961 when 15 former USAF AT-33As entered service. 4019 was delivered as JE-019, the first of a batch of 40 ex USAF T-33As delivered in 1986. In 1998 all surviving T-33s were relocated to Esc 402 at Ixtepec before the type was finally withdrawn in July 2007. Following withdrawal the aircraft has been displayed since 2009 at Base Aerea 4 at Cozumel.

Delivered new on lease to Aeromar in October 1999 and returned off lease as F-WNUI in December 2016. Became N806HC in April 2018 with Empire Airlines/Ohana by Hawaiian.

Ex JE-044, operated from Ixtepec by Esc 402 of Grupo Aerea 1, the final Mexican Air Force unit to operate the type before their withdrawal in 2007. Preserved at Culiacán since 2010.
