Perimeter's C-FJNW, seen in an older colour scheme in 1991, would stay with Perimeter for another thirty years before being withdrawn from active service. It was noted in storage at Winnipeg in 2023.

Perimeter's C-GEFX was dbr in a landing accident at Reindeer Lodge, Manitoba, in 2006.

The first airline to operate this turboprop was COPA Panama, from 1969 until 1974. After spending some years in Europe again, mainly used as a demonstrator, the aircraft came to Canada in October 1984 and stayed with Calm Air until the end of its career. Last flying activity known in 2005, it was withdrawn from use, perhaps at Thompson where it was based in its final years.

When the USA refused export license for further C-130s for South Africa, they turned to France and bought nine Transall C-160Z which arrived between July 1969 and December 1970. They served with 28 Sqd at AFB Waterkloof alongside the Hercules until the fleet was retired at the end of 1992. This discrete Transall is seen landing at Phalaborwa in the then Transvaal (now Limpopo), home to the 7th South African Infantry Battalion. Photographer unknown
