1940-built two-seat advanced trainer version of the USAAC P-35 fighter. Ordered by Sweden but the contract for 50 was frozen and they became AT-12 Guardsmen in the USA, this example as 41-17529. Now preserved as NX55539 at Chino in USAAC markings of the period.

Started as N8762 with Eastern, went to Minerve as F-GETM. Became C-FCMV and N811GB before it was leased to Faucett.

Delivered new to Northeast Airlines as N6591C in 08.58. Later served several operators as a corporate aircraft. With the Mid Atlantic Air Museum as N7471 from 05.92.

Delivered to US Navy in 03.45 as R5D-3 Bu56497, later C-54Q. N62342 from 03.75 and Aero Union '13' from 12.75. Later C-FBAK with Buffalo Airways.

VH-JSS was one of a small number of Transavia Airtruks assembled in New Zealand and given New Zealand MSNs. It was registered ZK-TRR in April 1983 and exported to Australia in 1987. JSS crashed near Port Pirie, South Australia, on October 15, 1994, when it snared a power line while doing agricultural work.

Built for the USAAF as a PT-17 (serial 41-8028) but painted to represent a U.S. Navy N2S. Taken after an experience flight aboard her.
