First known as Resort Commuter Airlines from 1975, Mid-South Airlines was re-named in 1982 after acquisition of two Bandeirantes in 1980. The airline was merged with Air Virginia in 1984 and this aircraft went to Atlantic Southeast Airlines a year later. Flying with many commuters in the USA, New Zealand and Australia (VH-LSE, ZK-REU, ZK-TZN, ZK-VJG and VH-BQB), it was sold privately in 2010. At the time of uploading an aviation and fire rescue training aid located at the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy across the mouth of the Brisbane River from Brisbane Airport in Australia.

Former West Coast Air Services Beaver with new Air BC titles. The Jim Pattison Group amalgamated ten local float operators in 1980 to form Air BC. C-FOSP is current with Harbour Air at the time of uploading, upgraded with an extended aft cabin and larger windows replacing the classic Beaver porthole.

Watson Lake Flying Services DHC-2 Beaver, CF-IBP, was photographed while visiting the Altin, BC waterfront in June 1980. The aircraft was delivered new to B.C. Air Lines in March 1955 and was acquired by Watson Lake Flying Services in Dec. 1967. It crashed 60 miles SW of Watson Lake, BC on Sep 22, 1996. 1 killed. wreck status unknown. The historic gold mining town Atlin is on the east side of Atlin Lake, 92 miles SE of Whitehorse Airport. In the 1920s is became an exotic tourist destination only accessible by boat and later bush plane until the first road was built to the Yukon in 1950-1951.

North Carolina Army National Guard OH-58A. The Kiowa was later upgraded to an OH-58C.

Bell TH-1L Iroquois 157809 would later become N4963F. The helicopter was displayed at the Hawaii Museum of Flying until 2020 when the State of Hawaii closed the museum over insurance and environmental concerns.

Since pictured in Pompano Beach, this 1947 Seabee has moved, via Tennessee and Illinois, to Washington state.

Was later converted to a freighter and served with Express One and Astar Air Cargo (DHL) with this registration. After that to 4R-SEM, XU-RKF and TU-TII. Broken up at Lanseria feb18. Fuselage destined to become a restaurant near Witbank.

Later became N860N and N722US. Broken up at Amarillo.

Built for Flying Tigers and delivered in 1962, this CL-44 is pictured being masked for a new color scheme. Brought out of storage and flown to Ft Lauderdale for Aeron International Airlines, it would become N122AE and fly international freight. The aircraft was broken up in September 1999.

US Army Air Force C-60A Lodestar 42-55899 was quickly sold after World War II via the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. Variously registered NC17092, N8008 and N600L in 1957 after Westinghouse Electric bought the aircraft in 1956. It was converted to a Learstar II in 1958. Re-registered N608L when bought by The Lincoln National Life in 1964. Later with United Founders Life insurance company, a series of owners followed until it was impounded for drug smuggling in 1975. Pictured with Vintage Aircraft Sales, the registration was kept current until 2013, but the eventual fate is unknown.

A 707 delivered to Air France May 11 1962 (F-BHSU " Château de Versailles"). Leased to Royal Air Maroc from April 1975 to January 1976, it was withdrawn from service December 10, 1977. Sold in July 1978, it went through several aircraft brokers and a lease to Intercontinental Airways as N707RZ. Stored at Miami January 1980 after that lease, the airplane ended up stored at Ft. Lauderdale where it was broken up in April 1985.
