Delivered 3 October 1979 on lease. Returned to Embraer December 1980.

Part of the US Army 207th Aviation Company and based at Heidelberg AAF (where it arrived from). Later modified to a C-12C. The aircraft eventually departed to Dusseldorf. In October 1999 the aircraft was reregistered as N636B (as a Beechcraft A200 Super King Air). It is still active at the time of the upload.

Crashed at New Smyrna Beach, Florida, on August 1, 1980. Pilot not qualified on type, had no copilot and a blood alcohol level of 0.15%.

Believed to be still parked at Goodyear. Last flight 1976.

Still showing its basic FAA livery and former registration, its new identity scrawled over it. Reregistered N41HQ in 1994.

Damaged nose repaired. It had been hit by a taxiing aircraft.

The extraordinary Twin Mustang was designed as a very long range escort fighter but was too late for WWII service and was rendered obsolete by the advent of the F-84 Thunderjet, although it did play a part in the initial stages of the Korean War. Early versions could be flown from either side but late models from the left only, with radar operator in the right. One of only five known survivors of the 270 built, preserved at the USAF History and Traditions Museum at Lackland AFB
