VH-FJN was destroyed and its pilot killed when it struck a power line near Beulah, Victoria, on August 14, 1989. It had been converted into an agricultural aircraft with a hopper fitted in the cabin. Neither the pilot nor the aircraft were approved for agricultural operations. The hopper installation was also not approved and it ruptured in the crash.
