In the HAM compound prior to the official opening 27th May 1972. Unusual shot with the wings folded and one of the last in these marks as by 14th May it was repainted as "XE364". The museum closed in May 1983 and the contents auctioned, XE489 fetching £6500. Bacame G-JETH. The wing spar attachments were found to be cut through so FB.3 WM983 was acquired and became G-JETH instead. XE489 with the wings of WM983 (in themselves from WV909!) was sold in the Netherlands. The aircraft marked as "XE489" at Charlwood is G-JETH with the fuselage of WM983 and just the wings from the original XE489.

Partially assembled in the HAM compound prior to the museum's official opening on 27th May 1972. Ex-St. Athan and 6 FTS. Wearing the maintenance serial 7963M. Sold to Warbirds of Great Britain for £3000 when the museum's items were auctioned in May 1983. To the USA c.1986.

Just a standard Cherokee 140 at this time, prior to its conversion to "RAM PA28 160 HP" specification.

In the HAM compound prior to the official opening on 27th May 1972. Although purchased by a private buyer on the demise of the Museum in May 1983 it was eventually scrapped in May 1989 and the cockpit section is now in the Newark Aircraft Museum.

Forward fuselage section of this Meteor in the HAM compound. The aeroplane had arrived dismantled on 16th January 1972 from Kemble and had previously served with the College of Air Warfare. The museum opened on 27th May 1972 but closed again in May 1983 when the contents were auctioned. The Meteor fetched £6,500. It was subsequently registered G-JETM and displayed at the Gatwick Aviation Museum, Charlwood..
