One of Finnair's Convair 440s on a charter to here instead of the usual Heathrow. Delivered in 1957 it was sold to Norway in 1972 then went to the USA, then Peru and finally crashed in the Andes mountains in 1993 while en route to Bolivia.

Built in 1953 for Swissair. Sold to Zaire Air Force as 9T-TLB post-1972 then later scrapped .

Originally built for KLM in 1952 and operated by Adria from 1961 to 1971 when it became 7O-ABM with Alyemda. Withdrawn in 1985 and scrapped.

Loading freight through the large rear cargo door of this convertible Super Constellation at Ringway in summer 1966. Ex National Airlines N7134C, the aircraft served Nordair from 12.64 until sale in 05.69. After operations to Biafra, it became derelict at Sao Tome, where its wreck still lies.

Unit: 34 Sqn. The Rolls Royce and police escort departing behind A65-90 showed it was carrying a very important person, which was Canberra-based 34 Squadron's role. A kid in the middle of the apron with a camera was no cause for concern in the relaxed atmosphere of Australia in 1966. A month later the aircraft was retired from VIP duties and later transferred to the Navy as N2-90, eventually becoming VH-NVZ in its historic flight. It was scrapped in 2014.
