March 1992 back as OO-SDA for Sobelair and Sabena until March 1999 F-GVAC, July 2003 G-GPFI and VH-OZQ until wfu at Bournemouth December 2008. In June 2011 fuselagen only perserved at BOH as a cabin trainer. My first good shot of Sabena after SN opened schedule to Oslo in November 1985.

First flight in 1980, and delivered new to Aeroflot - Leningrad department 31st January 1980. In December 1992 rr to RA-85390 for Aeroflot- Russian Airlines - St Peterburg division, later Pulkovo Avia. wfu at LED in May 2005 and later broken up there. Seen entering rwy 24 for the retunflgiht as SU636 via ARN to LED.

Converted from DC-9-81 to DC-9-82 in March 1997. Seen here at Oslo-Gardermoen without the SAS logo on the tail. Converted again in January 2005 to DC-9-83.

Delivered to BA 5 September 2001 and seen at Oslo-Gardermoen three weeks later.

After a long and illustrious career, this Convairliner ended her career as a fire trainer. Delivered new to SAS 13 June 1956, she served on European and Scandinavian routes for the tri-national airline until November 1976 when she was sold to Botswana Desert Airways and the registration 3D-AAC was applied, but not taken up. She was then sold to Nor-Fly as LN-MAP where she remained until 1983 and withdrawn from use at Fornebu where she ended as a fire trainer. During 1998 she was moved to Oslo's new international airport at Gardermoen where she is seen on a cold winter's day after an exercise
