Built in 1956 and delivered to SAS June 13th that year as OY-KPB "Egil Viking". Leased to Linjeflyg in March and April 1976. Wfu at CPH November 4th 1976. December 1976 LN-MAP Norfly. Final flight for Norfly was October 23rd 1982, and it was used for spares. It was after the disposal of LN-MAP, that Norsk Meropolitan Klubb was established to save the final CV-440 LN-KLK. LN-MAP was moved to OSL, where it has survived fire training and as 2024 still can be seen, rather derelict.

After a long and illustrious career, this Convairliner ended her career as a fire trainer.
